If you need an email address and email account for each department we will set them up for you. If you need an email address for every single member of staff we will set that up for you. You just need to let us know what email addresses you require and we will sort it all out for you.
Web Mail or Email Clients?
We actually provide both options with each account.
The benefits to webmail is that you can use a web browser/web page to access your emails from anywhere that you have an internet connection. The is the type of email system that is used by Gmail and other web mail accounts. You will have the ability to read, send and receive emails using webmail for each email account that we set up for you. So if you need to check your email, or send a quick email and you are out of the office, thats fine you can use any computer or mobile device that is connected to the internet. It is a very useful feature.
The other type of email system that you might prefer is the standard email client or email program. This uses an email program like Outlook or the Mail feature built in to your iPhone to download email from the server to your computer or phone.
What if I want you to build my website but keep my email elsewhere?
Thats is fine, we can set that up for you.
To do that we will simply need the MX records for the email provider that you wish to use, (don’t panic they will be able to provide you with them) and then we add them to your DNS records. This then sends anyone that is sending you an email to your preferred email provider, and anyone that wants to view your website to us.
Most people will want to keep their emails and their hosting together under the same account, however there are a few people that will want to keep them separate and we cater for that option.
