Each customer will be given a quote for the website, and told how long it will take to complete. You will have the option to choose a maintenance package and an optimisation package if you wish, or you can simply pay for the website and maintain and update it yourself. The only ongoing costs in this case are your domain name renewal, which costs an average of £10 per year depending on who you used to register the domain name, and your hosting account, which costs an average of £60 a year depending on who you are using to host your website.
Responsive Websites
Your website absolutely needs to be fully mobile and tablet compatible and 100% responsive. This is vital for several reasons, firstly because most of your customers will probably use their mobile phone or a tablet like an iPad to look up your website. You will have 2 options, you can login to the website and edit the text and add images yourself. Or you can get us to do it for you.
To make simple small changes to the text on the website yourself will require some basic technical abilities, but it really isn’t very difficult at all and most people can learn to do it in a couple of minutes. We will build your website with the ability for you to login and make small changes yourself. It will be up to you to decide if you want to or if you prefer to have an expert make the changes for you. Larger changes will require an expert and we will need to make these for you.
If like many busy professionals you simply don’t have the time, or you prefer to have the website updated by a professional we offer maintenance packages for ongoing changes, or we offer one off updates as and when you need them for a small fee .
